SUN SAFETY for Summer 2010

Don't be afraid of the sun this summer, instead of laying in the sun to fry. Why not opt to use self tanning lotions or a great sunscreen. They are great for the skin, they provide SPF and you avoid the feeling of burn after you've been in the sun for a couple hours. Take care of your skin and she will take care of you. Here are my product recommendations.

SHISEIDO Ultimate Sun Protection lotion SPF 55. It is water resistant , it blocks UVA/UVB rays and prevents cell damage with rose apple leaf extract. $ 39

CLARINS Delectable Self Tanning Mousse with Mirabelle Oil SPF 15. This formula melts in your skin. It provides protection and moisture to the skin. Ultimate results: Sun kisses skin. $ 42

SEVIN NYNE Self Tanning Lotion and Spray. It provides a smooth finish leaving your skin glowing. $ 35

Cheek Tints & Creams... Some of my Favorite!

This summer what we want to accomplish is a flawless skin full of radiance and luminosity. So what better than using tints and creams rather than our normal powder blushes. When u use a liquid/creamy base for a blush your skin looks even more hydrated. In the summer the look is mostly shimmery and vivid, not matte.

So here are my product recommendations for this post.

HD MICROFINISH Blush
These amazing cream blushes come in 14 colors. It naturally shapes and gives a natural highlights look for instant luminosity. $ 25

BENEFIT Bene Tint
This product can be use for lips and cheeks. It is time efficient and leaves you looking natural and fresh. It comes in 2 colors. $28

Rose

Possy Pink

BEST Deodorant ever....

CLINIQUE Antiperspirant Deodorant.

I have been using this product for over 10 years, so has my mom, sister, aunt, cousins and now I got my husband to use it as well. It is the best thing I have ever experience, and by far the most effective one.

Clinique also carries a Men's Deodorant but, I believe (and my husband too) that this is better because it is clear and it leaves no stains. The cost is $ 9.00

Bye Bye Cellulite....

Are you tired of working out on those thighs & buttox and your still not eliminating the stubborn cellulite? You might want to pair your workout with this lotion which will change your life. I'm not saying stop working out but, after that workout and a hot shower apply this lotion and results will come along.

I'm talking about Clarins Lift-Minceur Haute Fenition. This is a High Deninition Body lift that works for cellulite control and smoothes & firms. It redifines your hips and thighs by reducing the signs of cellulite as well as smoothing out that sexy silhouette we all want to have this summer.

It actually works... The cost is $65. Much cheaper than a laser cellulite treatment.

Primers what to use....

How many of us use a face primer after our moisturizer but before our foundation? Whoever does us face primer knows how amazing the skin feels right after you apply it right? So here I am again recommending some great products for any budget. Always remember BEAUTY does not have to be expensive... Here are my favorite face primers.

Shall we start with L'oreal

L'OREAL just came out with a line of amazing products that are called Studio Secrets Professional Perfecting base and Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primers. I previously talked about the Studio Finish Perfecting base, and the reasons why we should have that product in our makeup drawers. So now what's next...

L'OREAL Studio Secret Professional Color Correcting Primers. There are three colors...
Green - Anti redness
Tan- Anti-dull skin primer gives a radiant healthy glow to medium/dark skins.
Pink- Anti- Dull skin primer illuminates and adds warmth to light complexions
White- Anti shine
Cost $12.99

Makeup Forever HD Micro-perfecting Primers are also amazing color primers, these come in a variety of colors, it's lightweight and oil free.
Clear 0- adds luminosity to the complexion
Green 1- Reduces redness
Lavender 2 - counteracts sallow undertones
Caramel 4 - combats ashiness in medium to dark skin tones.
Blue 5 - Adds radiance to light skin reducing minor imperfections.
Yellow 6- Lightens dark complexions
Pink 7- Brightens complexions and counteracts sallow tones.
Cost $32.00

Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primers.

Green - Anti redness
Purple- brightens dark and shallow skin
Apricot- evens out skin tones and counteracts discoloration and dark spots.
Cost $ 36.00

As well as L'oreal, Smashbox has it's original clear formula in two options Oil Free and the regular Photo Finish Primer.

As an FYI a primer will not only enhance your complexions but it will help with minimizing the appearance of pores, and minimal lines as well as smoothing out your complexions making it look and feel silk like.

Until next time enjoy your new primers....

Secret find

L'oreal finally came up with a product that works and of course it's more inexpensive. It's called studio perfecting base , in other words it is a primer. You can get it at walgreens or CVS for $12.99. I was using smashbox primer, it's amazing but I can save a little.
