When we think about exercise we automatically relate it to getting fit, loosing weight, toning, and some people may see it like BORING. But, now there is yet another amazing reason as to why we should exercise our bodies frequently.

In humans, skin is the largest part of the integumentary system; what a big word, it is just a Latin word that means "to cover". Well, anyways our skin is so amazing that we should focus on taking care of it on a daily basis. Not only is the primary protector of our bodies but it is our insulation system, our thermometer, it activates vitamin D (which we get from sun exposure) and it is just another element that makes us look beautiful. Can you only imagine a body without skin?? Umm, not a pretty image right?.

So with that being said I want to share some tips to ensure we all maintain a healthy glowing skin.

1. Cleanse your skin at least twice a day. According to your skin type choose a cleanser that best fits your needs.
2. Always wear sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher to avoid any skin damages from sun exposure. Use a moisturizer and a foundation that have SPF to always be protected. At nigh use a richer and creamier moisturizer. Try to apply your moisturizer while the skin is still a bit wet, it will lock in the moisturizer better.
   
3. Exfoliate regularly (twice a week) to remove unwanted dead cells.
4. NEVER GO TO BED WEARING MAKEUP. Always remove it, if you don't wear makeup...wash your face anyways.
5. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables which are high in antioxidants (these rejuvenate your skin). It will also aid in preventing breakouts.
   
6. Drink PLENTY of water. Lots of water.... it also prevents breakouts.
   

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY EXERCISE REGULARLY...

• Not only does exercising increase your blood circulation but, it helps to your cells renew faster and more efficiently carrying more nutrients to the skin. Secret find

L'oreal finally came up with a product that works and of course it's more inexpensive. It's called studio perfecting base , in other words it is a primer. You can get it at walgreens or CVS for $12.99. I was using smashbox primer, it's amazing but I can save a little.

A few new hues for different skin colors; for this spring and summer we should try to do bright eyes with super natural lip color and rose/pink cheek color.


if your skin is a fair/light tone...



Let's play with some matte shimmers with peachy or pale pink hues in the cheeks. The eyes will definitely stand out in a sparkling green/blue creamy shadow (the color I'm talking about is the color of Cancun, Mexico ocean, if you've been there then you will know what I'm talking about), this will look amazing against the alabaster color of fair skin. So when you use such color in your eyes PLEASE ensure your lips are tinted in a creamy nude or a pinky pearl color that will complement the whole makeup overall.

You already have a beautiful color, so you don't want to overdo it or ruin the natural flawless look; so take these tips and follow them. Keep in mind that when you are shopping for cheek color you stay with a brown-based blush or a bronzer as a blush. Now think about the color indigo... that's the color you want to put in your eyes. About the lips same thing; NUDES NUDES NUDES.

Dark/tan skin. What a beautiful color? There is so many options for your skin tone but for this spring stick with those vivid eye shadows, neutral lips and coraly cheek shades. For example; why don't you play with bright fresh colors like coral, sun kissed, an bright pinks for your cheeks. These tones will make your complexion look vibrant while at the same time adding some glow. Pair your eye color with a violet/purple shade to enhance the color of your eyes, and again neutral reddish/brown lips. But remember when your doing bright eye shadows do light or neutral lips. You will be ready for a night out or a day at the mall in any minute.

We all get tired of seeing the same colors over and over again; Red, plums & neutrals? This coming season, sunny shades of fuchsia and coral are making our cheeks, lips and outfits look refreshed. Don't think that the gold and bronzed looks are out of the picture rather think about how you can spike these looks with a bit more color. So let me recommend some popular colors and brands that will suit you good this season.





Don't hesitate to try out a new shade of pink in your cheeks or lips. Dare to step outside the box with new colors that will make your spring look fascinating. To start off you can go with the Tarte lip stain, which is like a lip balm and it applies just a dab of color. If you are already use to color then try that dusty rose from Lorac, It will dazzle your lips. And, if you wanna keep it safe go with the sun kissed orange tones. Eyeliner tips

WOW... sooo true stop living with your old boring routines and spike it up a little bit. Don't be afraid of change ladies because a better you is about to emerge. Lets start with the the soul windows our EYES. As we continue talking about them we will learn about color, shades, liners and mascaras. Today it's all about eyeliner tips and that is all soon we will have live tutorials but as for now we need to exercise our brains by constantly feeding new information in. So let's do this! Are you ready?

First off lets talk about liquid eyeliner.

Praise to those eyes that are perfectly designed with liquid eyeliner. But, many of us scary cats stay away from it due to the fear of applying it. Yes you need precision and practice but ladies you can do it. Any woman can wear liquid eyeliner to create a pair of seductive eyes. Black is normally the usual color for liquid liner but there is many colors than you can play with. To start with you can apply colors like, copper, plum, gray, emerald green etc. Sassyness begins with being able to master skills. Soon with this information you will be on the way of mastering your skills.

• There is no secret. Nobody starts by being a professional. Start by doing the following get as close to the root as possible, the line should begin at the inside corner of the eye (you can take brakes and connect all the dashes as your going, you wont get a straight line on the first try), work your liner all the way towards the outside corner to finish wing the eyeliner up. This will generally lift up you eyes. If you think you are to nervous or shaky to start with an liquid, draw a line with a pencil liner and apply the liquid eye liner on top. Issue solved. Now there is no excuse to at least trying.
  
• Big NO.NO. avoid applying liquid eyeliner on the bottom lashes. This only makes a extremely dramatic statement and for the most part it looks to over done and un-natural. Instead use a angle brush to gently sweep some powder shadow to create dept and definition in the entire eye.
• OMG I messed up! Don't freak out it's only liquid eyeliner with a q-tip & a drop of water you can just fix it. No biggy.
  
• Liquid eye liner can also be used to seam on false eyelashes. cool no!

Some of my favorite liquid eyeliner...

L'oreal Liquid Eyeliner & Mac Liquid Eyeliner

Pencil eyeliner - by far a more natural look of them all. No worries you like subtle look go with pencil... but don't get me wrong you can work it up by using glitter pencils or dramatic colors. But also, when you wear pencil liner smudge it... it will look much more seductive and mysterious. Always look for pencil liners that are based of gel, these will glide right on your skin. If you have oily eyelids... no worries just buy a waterproof pencil liner. Ooh and for hygiene ensure to sharpen the pencil first.

• As far as application it will be almost the same as liquid the only difference is that it does not glide as easy so you will have to hold your eye closed and gently pulling the eyelid. Apply from the inside corner to the outside corner of the eye. You may wing this as well.
  
• For a sexier look smudge
• Dramatic look top off with a shade lighter liquid liner. Super sweet
• ladies always feel free to play with colors especially powder shadows these create a different dimension in the eye.
• Had a rough nigh, sleepless nigh apply some white or nude eyeliner to the inside rim of the lower lashes. You will see the light coming out of your eyes.

Mascara - WOW... 360 degree change in the appearance of the eye. Magic little thing. This wonderful tool opens up the eye dramatically whether you have long or short lashes. Make them be the butterflies of the face. No matter what a lady should NEVER walk out of the door with no mascara.

• If curling the eyelashes please, please do it before applying mascara. By not doing so you may brake the lashes and you will not like the outcome.
  
• By applying two coats your eyes will shout drama.

Are your eyes the windows to your soul?

How true is the saying, "Our eyes are the windows to our soul".?? There is absolutely nothing more lovely in a woman's face than her eyes. The eyes are the key to the heart the connection between souls, they are the enchantment between opposites. A woman's eyes represent the unavoidable temptation that when well set captivates anybody's attention. Therefore, outlining your eyes or accenting them is truly like putting curtains on a window. Not only does it draw attention to that beautiful face but also, it is like adding suspense scenes to a movie. The transformation is intriguing.



An interesting fact is that no matter what color your eyes may be; when eyeliner is applied correctly it will always enhance your eyes portraying a stronger look than expected. Eyeliner can be anywhere from dramatic, subtle, gentle, colorful, sexy and also innocent. You can use different colors, textures, glitter and metallic finishes endless possibilities. It can be drawn around the eye, or just on the top or bottom; you can do halfway along the crease or create lines that extend beyond the eye; make a thick line, a defined line or a soft smudged line; draw on the inner top rim of the eye or inside the bottom eye rim. At this point anything goes every woman can wear eyeliner to create a mesmerizing entrancing glance.



There is different kinds of eyeliner. Pencil liner, the easiest and most lenient of them all. Liquid liner (my favorite) creates a precise line for a super-glam look but a steady hand is needed. Gel Liner, which comes in a variety of colors and it is very similar to liquid liner just easier to apply.





Therefore, ladies be strong! Loose the fear of a little extra color (liner) on your eyes and show the world what you got. Make your eyes loom and portray a clear statement of security and graceful elegance!!!

Pensamiento ( food for the soul)

Hello again ladies, after a long sleepless night I'm back and just more excited than ever. A new doll has been delivered to the world and it is the best feeling ever. It is my niece only a couple hours old , I can already start imagining her old enough to start enhancing those beautiful features she will have. I'm thinking will her eyes be small, big, almond eyes, deep-set eyes, hooded eyes, or close-set eyes. Will they be blue, green , brown or hazel. What shape will her lips have. Only to come to the conclusion that no matter what shape and/or color they might be she will be beautiful and ready to be pampered.

As we keep on talking about the importance of eyes you ladies will be able to familiarize with different tips that will definitely bring the best of you to achieve the desired look. Remember we were blessed to be women! Take all the positive in it and make it the best it can be. How we think affects how we look. Take this in! start living by it. There is nothing better than waking up each morning, looking in the mirror and thanking God for making us who we are. Before thinking about covering up an imperfection or concentrating on the negative aspects of your complexion, admire your attributes. Keep in mind that THE key element about looking sexy, sophisticated, elegant and beautiful is to feel good. It starts within, love yourself be proud of your body and the process to looking good will begin.

Eye liner History 101

Eye liner is a cosmetic used to define the eyes. It is applied around the contours of the eye to create a variety of aesthetic illusions. Eyeliner was first used in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia as a dark black line around the eyes made out of kohl. (Kohl is a combination of lead, copper, burned almonds, soot, and other ingredients.)



Although eyeliner dates all the way back to 4000BC. In the 1960s, liquid eyeliner was used to create thick black and white lines (White eye liner is often used to make eyes look brighter).



Some sources stereotype that in the late 20th and early 21st century, heavy eyeliner has been associated with Gothic fashion and sometimes even Punk fashion. Although it might be true LATINAS wear eyeliner since they were born. It is not a stereotypical icon, just anybody that want to spice up their look can do it.
