Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Day-Touch Sunblock ($11.99) is great and it has SPF 45 (SPF-Sun Protector Factor). Clarins Creme Solaire Securite Haute Protection ($32) is another great choice if you want to spend a bit more money.
AFTER....Wow some of us just turn brown instantly but some of us turn bright red. Whatever the case is it burns right? So either of these products really work... Clinique After Sun ($20) promotes a soothing feeling. Korres Yoghurt Cooling Gel ($23) moisturizes instantly due to the yoghurt benefits and it is ultra cooling.

I'm so glad you pointed out these two very important applications for the perfect tan on a perfect getaway! It's smart to notice that not using the right protection will only hurt our skin and that our tan will go away after only one day leaving us with horrible pain and peeling dry skin!
